About the Programme

Infant care in Port Harcourt built around your baby's world

Our creche accepts children from birth and provides professionally supervised, full-day care in a clean, warm, and purposefully designed environment. Every part of the daily programme - feeding schedules, nap routines, sensory play, and quiet time - is structured around what your child needs at each developmental stage.

We do not simply look after children. We observe them, document their milestones, and keep every parent fully informed. You will never end a day wondering how your baby did.

What You Can Expect

Four things every PPS creche parent relies on

Qualified, Trained Caregivers

Every member of our creche team is trained in infant care, first aid, and child development. The ratio of caregivers to infants is kept low by design, so your baby is never just another child in a room.

Routine-Based Days

Young children thrive on predictability. Our daily schedule is structured around feeding, sleep, stimulation, and rest, built to match your child's developmental needs and your family's home rhythm.

Daily Parent Updates

You will receive a daily update on your child's feeds, naps, mood, and activities. Our open-door policy means you can visit at any time with no appointment needed. Transparency is not optional at PPS; it is the standard.

Strict Hygiene Standards

Our creche room is dedicated, purpose-fitted, and cleaned to medical standards throughout the day. Every item, from feeding equipment to play materials, is sanitised between uses.

Common Questions

Creche FAQs from Port Harcourt parents

We have answered the questions we are asked most often. If you do not find what you need here, send us a WhatsApp message and we will respond the same day.

Ask on WhatsApp

What age do you accept in the creche?

+
We accept children from birth into our creche programme. If you have a newborn and are planning your return to work, we encourage you to book a visit early as spaces are limited.

What are the creche hours?

+
The creche is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We advise parents to drop off before 9:00 AM to give children time to settle before the morning routine begins.

What is the caregiver-to-infant ratio?

+
We maintain a low ratio to ensure every infant receives close, attentive care. Exact ratios are confirmed during your school visit. We prefer to show parents the environment in person rather than reduce it to a number.

Can I visit before enrolling?

+
Absolutely, and we strongly encourage it. Our open-door policy applies before enrolment too. You are welcome to tour the creche room, meet the caregivers, and ask every question you have before making any decision.

What do I need to bring for my child each day?

+
We will provide a detailed pack list when you enrol. Generally, parents bring labelled formula or breast milk, nappies, a change of clothing, and any comforting items your baby uses. We provide all equipment in the creche room itself.

Is the creche near GRA and Trans-Amadi?

+
Yes. We are at 20 Nwogu Street in Rumuomasi, making us very convenient for families in GRA Phase 1, GRA Phase 2, Trans-Amadi, Woji, and Old GRA. Most families are within a 5 to 10 minute drive.

"My son started at seven months. The caregivers know him, his moods, what settles him, and what makes him laugh. I can visit any time and I have never once felt unwelcome. That openness means everything to me."

"The hygiene standards in the creche are genuinely impressive. As a paediatrician myself, I notice things other parents might not, and I have not found a single thing to criticise. My daughter has been there for eight months and is thriving."
